Data deletion instructions

This page explains how to have your data deleted from the Green Telescope Platform app, which our brands (including Court Carbon and Delta X Coach) use to answer messages and comments on Facebook, Messenger and Instagram.

How to ask

• Email hello@greentelescope.com.au with the subject Delete my data.
• Tell us the name on your Facebook or Instagram profile and the brand you contacted. If you messaged us by SMS, WhatsApp or email, include that number or address too.

What we delete

• The messages and comments you sent us, and our replies to you.
• Your name and the page scoped and Instagram scoped IDs Meta gave our app for you.
• Your customer record with that brand, including any phone number and email address you gave us.

Where the law requires us to keep a record of a sale (for example a tax invoice), we keep only that record and delete everything else.

How fast

We delete your data within 30 days of your request and confirm by email (or by reply in the same conversation) when it is done. Our backups roll over within a further 35 days.

Removing the app

You can also remove the Green Telescope Platform app from your Facebook account at any time: Settings and privacy, Settings, Apps and websites, then Remove. Removing the app stops new data reaching us; email us as above to delete what we already hold.
